Birds you can find around Coniston
There are lots of birds around Coniston specially on the lake.
The National Trust says that birds around Coniston include dipper, spotted and pied flycatcher, redstart, tree pipit, wood warbler, and nuthatch.
You also might see green and great spotted woodpecker, tawny owl, raven, linnet, song thrush, peregrine, barn owl, buzzard, heron, tree creeper, sky lark.
Some rare birds come to Coniston and if you are lucky you might see one!
